Unlike some networks, delegating on Cardano does not lock or move your ADA; it stays in your own wallet and remains spendable at any time. You simply point your stake at a pool, and the network counts your holdings toward that pool’s chance of producing blocks. The official reference is cardano.org, maintained with Cardano Foundation branding.

Rewards are distributed at the end of each epoch and are shared among everyone who delegated to a pool that produced blocks. Earned rewards accrue on top of your original stake and compound automatically. The official delegation page also provides a rewards calculator, while cautioning that it produces only estimates and should not be treated as definitive. Historically, ADA delegation rewards have sat in a low-single-digit annual range, and the amount you actually receive depends on pool performance, its fees, and whether it is saturated (over-subscribed).

The risk profile here is relatively gentle compared with other staking. Cardano delegation is non-custodial and, importantly, has no slashing, so you cannot lose your principal to a validator penalty. The realistic downsides are choosing an underperforming or saturated pool (which lowers rewards), and ordinary market risk in the price of ADA itself.

To participate, use a self-custody Cardano wallet, review a pool’s stats, and delegate. You can re-delegate whenever you like; after switching, you keep receiving rewards from your old pool for two epochs before the change fully applies. Be alert to imitation sites: genuine delegation never asks you to send ADA anywhere or reveal your recovery phrase.

TokenSpin does not run this program; never share your seed phrase; never connect your wallet to a site you do not trust; not financial advice.

Any ADA holder can delegate to a stake pool from a self-custody wallet; funds stay in your wallet and remain liquid.

["post-26","radar","type-radar","status-publish","hentry
["GET
