What is Campaign?

A time-limited promotional programme where a project bundles quests, rewards, and marketing to attract and reward users.

A campaign is an organised, time-boxed push by a project to grow its user base. It usually bundles several quests, a points program, and sometimes a reward pool, all under one theme and deadline. Campaigns are how many airdrops and loyalty rewards are structured today.

For reward seekers, campaigns are a roadmap. They tell you which actions the project values, how long you have, and what you might earn, so you can decide whether the effort and any gas fees are worth it.

Example: a DEX runs a six-week trading campaign with weekly quests and a leaderboard, offering a share of a reward pool to the most active genuine users.

Safety note: because campaigns are heavily marketed, they are widely impersonated. Scammers copy branding, buy ads, and set up look-alike domains to trick you into connecting a wallet or signing a drainer transaction. Always reach campaigns through the project’s verified links, and never trust a “campaign” that demands your recovery phrase or an unlimited token approval. Related terms include quest, points program, airdrop, and phishing.
