The Spin is our newsletter: a periodic round-up of what actually happened in crypto rewards, which programmes changed, and which scams are currently doing the rounds. It is written by the same desk that produces everything else here, under the same standards.

An honest note first

The sign-up form is not connected to an email provider yet. That means sign-ups are not being collected, nothing is being stored, and no issue will arrive in your inbox at the moment. We would rather say that plainly than take addresses into a void and quietly hope you forget you gave us one.

When the delivery side is live, this page will say so, and it will say what happens to an address once you hand it over. Until then, please treat any form on this page as decoration rather than a promise.

What The Spin will carry

The intent is a short, readable issue rather than an aggregation dump. Specifically:

• Changes on the Rewards Radar. What was added, what was removed, and — more usefully — why. A programme quietly dropping its rate or extending a lock-up is exactly the sort of thing that gets announced badly and noticed late.
• Live scam patterns. The fake claim pages, impersonated support accounts and drainer approvals currently circulating, described precisely enough that you would recognise one.
• Airdrops worth understanding. Including the ones we have decided are not worth your time, and the reasoning behind that call.
• One thing explained properly. A single mechanic, risk or term unpacked in plain language, in the spirit of our learn section and glossary.

What it will never do

The Spin will never ask you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, approve a token allowance or enter a seed phrase. Nothing on this site ever will. That rule matters most in email, because email is where impersonation works best: a message with our name on it that asks you to “verify your wallet” or “claim before the deadline” is a scam, without exception, no matter how convincing the design.

It also will not be a promotional channel. No paid placements, no sponsored slots dressed as recommendations, no affiliate links smuggled into a round-up. Our advertising policy applies to the newsletter exactly as it applies to the site, and there is no advertising running at present in either.

How we would treat your address

The commitment, once collection begins, is straightforward: an address given for the newsletter would be used to send the newsletter and nothing else. It would not be sold, rented or shared with projects, advertisers or data brokers. Every issue would carry a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing would mean removal rather than a pause.
