This is a short policy with an unusual conclusion: TokenSpin sets no cookies at all. Not analytics cookies, not advertising cookies, not preference cookies, not “strictly necessary” ones. Zero.

That is why you have not seen a consent banner here. Consent banners exist because sites want to place things on your device that need permission. We do not place anything that needs permission, so there is nothing to ask you about and no choice to bury in a settings panel.

What a cookie is, briefly

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep and to send back on later requests. Sites use them for useful things such as staying logged in, and for less welcome things such as recognising you across unrelated websites to target advertising.

TokenSpin does neither, because it needs neither. There are no reader accounts to stay logged into, and we do not run advertising technology.

No third-party scripts, either

Cookies are only half the story. Most tracking now arrives through third-party scripts and pixels, which can profile a visit whether or not a cookie is set.

This site loads no third-party resources. Every font, stylesheet, script, and image is served from this domain. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising network, no social media pixel, no embedded tracker, and no external comment or chat widget. No other company learns that you read a particular page here simply because you opened it.

The one thing stored on your device

There is a single exception, and it is not a cookie. The Daily Spin saves your streak and your knowledge points using your browser’s local storage.

The difference matters. Unlike a cookie, local storage is never attached to requests, so this data is never sent to our server. We cannot see it, we do not have a copy, and it identifies nothing about you beyond a game score sitting in your own browser. Clearing your browsing data, using private mode, or moving to another device wipes it, and we cannot restore it — there is nothing on our side to restore from.

If you would prefer nothing at all was stored, don’t use the Spin, or clear site data for this domain afterwards. Nothing else on TokenSpin will stop working.

What our server records anyway

For completeness: like every hosted website, the web server logs the basic technical details of a request — an IP address, a user agent string, and the URL asked for. That happens at the network level and is not a cookie or a tracker; it is how a server functions and how we spot outages and abuse. Our privacy policy explains this in more detail.

Sites we link to

When an article or the Rewards Radar points you to an outside project, that site’s cookie behaviour takes over the moment you arrive, and it will almost certainly differ from ours. Most commercial crypto sites use cookies, analytics, and advertising trackers heavily. We cannot control or inspect what they set, and their consent banner is theirs, not ours. If this ever changes

We have no plan to add tracking. If that ever changed — for example if we introduced a feature that genuinely required storing something — we would update this page before switching it on, describe exactly what is set and why, and ask for consent where consent is required. We would not slip it in and hope nobody checked.

You do not have to take our word for any of this. Open your browser’s developer tools, look at the storage and network tabs while you read, and check. A publication that tells readers to verify claims should expect to be verified itself.
