Short version, stated up front because it is the part most readers actually want: TokenSpin currently runs no advertising at all, and there are no affiliate links live anywhere on this site. Nothing you click here earns us a commission today. No project has paid to be listed, rated, reviewed, or mentioned.

We are publishing this policy anyway, before we need it, because a disclosure written after the money arrives is worth very little. This is what our rules would be if that changes — and what would have to stay true regardless.

What an affiliate link is, plainly

An affiliate link is a tracked link that pays the publisher if you click through and then sign up, deposit, or complete some action. It is a completely normal way for independent publications to fund themselves, and it is also the single most common reason crypto “reviews” are worthless. When the payment is bigger for a riskier programme, and nobody tells you which links pay, the ranking you are reading is a rate card wearing a lab coat.

So we are not saying affiliate revenue is dirty. We are saying it has to be visible and it has to be walled off from editorial judgement.

The rules we would follow

• Disclosed, every time. If a link earns us anything, it is labelled on the page where it appears, not buried in a footer link nobody reads. You should never have to guess.
• Vetted first, monetised second. Nothing gets an affiliate link that would not already have passed the checks in how we vet. The question is always “would we list this if it paid nothing?” — if the answer is no, there is no link.
• No pay-to-list, ever. A place on the Rewards Radar cannot be bought. There is no paid tier, no sponsored slot, no “featured” placement sold to the highest bidder, and no arrangement where coverage is traded for anything.
• Commercial status never moves a rating. A risk rating is set by evidence and nothing else. No commercial relationship can raise a rating, soften a warning, delay a downgrade, or keep a listing alive after it should have been pulled.
• Never on safety pages. No affiliate or commercial links on scam alerts, on warnings, or on anything whose job is to stop a reader losing money. Monetising a page that exists to protect people is a conflict we are not willing to manage — we would rather just not have it.
• No editorial veto for partners. Nobody gets to see a piece before publication, request changes, or have a critical mention removed. If a relationship ever came with those strings attached, we would decline the relationship.
• Removal is free. Losing revenue is never a reason to keep something listed. If a programme stops meeting our standard, it comes off the Radar the same as any other.

What we will never do for money

We will not ask you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, approve a token allowance, or type a seed phrase — for any reason, commercial or otherwise. That is not a policy we would relax for a good advertiser, because the mechanics of the most damaging crypto scams run straight through exactly those actions. Any page anywhere claiming to be us and asking for them is not us.

We also will not sell sponsored articles dressed as editorial, accept payment to remove or soften a scam alert, run interstitials or pop-ups that push a token, or hand over reader data as part of a commercial deal.

If this ever changes

If we introduce affiliate links or advertising, this page gets updated on the day it happens — not quietly, and not retroactively. It will say what kind of arrangement exists and where you will see the labels. The date on this page is your check: if it says nothing is running and you see something that looks monetised, that is an error worth reporting through our contact page.

Why we are choosing candour over vagueness

The easy version of this page is three sentences of legal boilerplate saying we “may receive compensation”. That phrasing is designed to cover every future possibility while telling you nothing about the present. We would rather commit to something specific and be held to it.
