Advertise with TokenSpin

Advertising on TokenSpin — clearly labelled, screened for scams, never on safety pages, and never pay-to-list on the Rewards Radar.

TokenSpin currently runs no advertising. There are no display ads on this site, no sponsored posts, no paid placements and no affiliate links live anywhere in our content. If you are seeing an ad on a page that looks like ours, you are not on our site.

That may change one day. Independent publishing costs money, and advertising is one of the less compromising ways to cover it. But in a sector where the advertising itself is frequently the scam, taking money for attention needs rules set before the first invoice, not after. This page is those rules, published in advance so we can be held to them.

What would never be for sale

The most important line is the simplest one. Editorial decisions are not purchasable. That means:

  • No pay-to-list on the Rewards Radar. A programme appears on the Radar because it passed our vetting process, and for no other reason. Money cannot buy an entry, move one up, or keep one from being removed.
  • No influence on risk ratings. A commercial relationship with a project would never soften how we describe its risks. If anything, it raises the bar for what we will say about it.
  • No advertising on safety content. Our scam alerts, wallet security guidance and vetting pages would stay ad-free. Someone reading a scam warning should not have a commercial message competing for their attention at that exact moment.
  • No buying silence. Advertising with us would not stop us publishing a warning about the advertiser. A project uncomfortable with that should not advertise here.

How any future advertising would be handled

Anything paid would be labelled clearly and in plain language, at the point where you encounter it, not in small print at the bottom of the page. Labels like “advertisement” or “sponsored” would be used because they are understood, rather than softer wording chosen to blur the line. Paid content would never be styled to imitate an editorial article.

Ad networks would be screened before being allowed to serve, and screened on an ongoing basis afterwards. Certain categories would be blocked outright: fake giveaways and “claim free tokens” creatives, wallet-connect prompts, anything impersonating a project or exchange, unlicensed financial products, and gambling. That category list exists because those are precisely the ads that harm the readers we are trying to protect. A network unwilling or unable to enforce those blocks would not be used, and any network that let a prohibited ad through would be dropped rather than warned.

Affiliate links

We have no affiliate links live. If we ever used them, they would be disclosed on the page where they appear as well as in our affiliate disclosure, and the same rule would apply: a commission could never determine what gets recommended, rated or listed.

If you want to advertise

We are not selling advertising at the moment, so there is no media kit, no rate card and no inventory to discuss. When contact routes for the desk are published on the contact page, enquiries can go there, and this page will be updated if the position changes.

Our editorial guidelines describe the wider standards this policy sits inside. If any of the above reads as an obstacle rather than a reassurance, we are probably not the right fit for each other.
